NASHVILLE, Tennessee — October 30, 2025 — Nissan returns to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show with four breathtaking concepts designed to push the limits of performance and vehicle personalization.

Each project reflects Nissan’s philosophy that its vehicles can serve as canvases to express the passions and lifestyles of automotive enthusiasts.

“Nissan vehicles already deliver excitement straight from the dealership, but it’s thrilling to see how owners transform them to live their adventures and hobbies to the fullest,” said Kim Less, Vice President of Aftersales at Nissan. “Bringing special projects to SEMA connects us with the community and shows what fans truly want from their Nissans.”

The featured models — Dune Patrol, Frontier Rapid Runner, Forsberg Racing NISMO GT-Z, and Forsberg Racing Patrol — will be showcased at the Nissan booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 4–7.

Inspired by the Patrol’s heritage in desert racing, the Dune Patrol concept takes the PRO-4X’s ruggedness to a new level. Equipped with a custom long-travel suspension, widened fenders, and 18-inch NISMO AXIS beadlock wheels wrapped in 37″ Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T G003 tires, this SUV was built to conquer the toughest dunes with comfort and endurance.

The model also features high-approach bumpers, reinforced rock sliders, skid plates, off-road lighting, a roof rack, and a cat-back exhaust. For long expeditions, it includes internal and external storage solutions, an onboard air compressor system, and a long-range radio antenna — a true mobile support center for extreme adventures.

The Rapid Runner project, created in partnership with POWERNATION TV, marks the return of the Trailgater concept with a new identity focused on kayaking and water sports.

Based on the Frontier PRO-4X, the vehicle received NISMO roof and bed racks for kayak transport, 17” NISMO ASCEND wheels with Yokohama GEOLANDAR X-MT tires, and Titan axles for increased track width. Custom tubular doors and bespoke bumpers complete the radical look.

The interior was designed for wet adventures: waterproof Covercraft seat covers, coated floors, storage for paddles and wetsuits, plus a portable shower and solar panels. The build process will be featured in a four-episode special of the “Dirt and Trails” show, premiering November 7.

Developed by Forsberg Racing, the NISMO GT-Z transforms the NISMO Z into a race-ready machine set to compete in the 2026 GRIDLIFE GLGT series. The project uses components from the NISMO catalog, including high-performance suspension and exhaust systems, illustrating how easily the sports car can be converted into a professional-grade track vehicle.

At the Nissan booth, visitors can virtually experience the car through a Podium 1 racing simulator, featuring a custom seat and immersive setup.

Forsberg Racing also applied its expertise to a classic: the Patrol Y60, transformed into a 1,000-horsepower turbocharged beast. The heavily modified 4.8-liter Nissan TB48 engine powers this legendary off-roader, which now rides on 17” NISMO AXIS beadlock wheels with 35” Yokohama GEOLANDAR tires.

Celebrating the Patrol’s history as a global off-road and expedition icon, the project blends tradition and innovation — a modern tribute to the durability and adventurous spirit that made the model legendary.
